I’d like to thank all the amazing volunteers who worked on my campaign for Oak Bay Council! Without your tireless efforts I would not have been able to get my message out to the community. Thank you so much for all the time and energy that you committed to the campaign!

I would also like to thank those who donated to my campaign. I was able to put up signs, print my brochures, print 100 reusable cotton shopping bags with the campaign logo, host a launch party, print a banner, and place ads in the newspaper. I couldn’t have done any of this without your generousity!

And to the voters that put their faith in me, a newcomer, and an upstart by many people’s standards, I thank you! As much as I’m disappointed with not being elected, I am proud of the 2024 votes I did receive. I have heard from many of you, and your support during the campaign, on election day, and since has been inspiring. I really appreciate your words of support, and encouragement.

Although I was unsuccessful at getting elected, I want to say how much I got out of this experience. I met so many of you, and now I’ve got so many neighbours that will be familiar faces on the streets. I am so happy to know that I’ve got over 2000 friends that share my values and vision for Oak Bay. I am excited to get to know you better, and to continue to work with you in the future.

I may not be a member of Council, but my goals for Oak Bay have not changed! I will work hard to ensure that the Council as elected will hear our values and vision. The election may be over, but as far as my goals? They aren’t done yet!

If you want to work with me on any of the issues I raised during the campaign, please let me know! I’ve heard there’s some buzz about Community Organizers going on South of the Border, and something tells me that it’s not just a passing trend. Let’s get to work Oak Bay!
